Hi, I'm Kate Powers! An Author, Artist & Special Education Teacher.
I create children’s picture books and resources that affirm neurodivergent kids and help caregivers feel less alone.
My stories like Little Dragon Learns to Wait and Pip the Plover and the Dune Grass Path are rooted in real moments from parenting, teaching, and healing.
Whether you’re raising a neurodivergent child, teaching one, or are one (hi, me too), you’re welcome here. This space is built on the belief that creativity heals, stories connect, and emotional tools should feel like a warm hug, not a to-do list.
I also created The Resource Library, a free members-only space with printables, scripts, and calming tools for families and teachers.
